Summer Camp Laundry FAQ – Manara Laundry

Your camper is back — and so is their trunk full of dirty laundry. What now?

Don’t worry — Manara Laundry has you covered. With over 20 years of experience handling camp laundry, we make it quick and easy for you. No appointment is necessary — simply drop off during business hours. Want to skip the trip? We also offer pickup and delivery, which costs a little more but saves you time (and the heavy lifting).

Please note: We require 4 days to process large camp laundry orders. We’ll always do our best to complete it sooner if possible. If you need expedited service, we offer the following rush options (added to standard per-pound charges):

• Next-day turnaround: +$200

• 2-day turnaround: +$100

• 3-day turnaround: +$50

Rush service is available on a limited, first-come, first-served basis.

Here’s everything you need to know about our hassle-free camp laundry:

🧺 Before You Drop Off

1. Set Up Your Online Account
To make check-in faster, visit manarawash.com to create an account and add your credit card. Already have an account, you are all set. Please let us know in the notes section how many trucks you will be giving us.

2. Remove Non-Washable Items
Please remove anything that should not be laundered, such as:

• Water bottles
• Headphones or electronics
• Sports gear
• Paperwork or delicate keepsakes

If we have to sort and store these items for you, a $35 Empty Trunk Fee will apply. We are not responsible for these items ruining your clothes.

3. Want the Trunk Washed Too?

• Trunk washing is optional and costs $19.
• If you don’t want it washed, please keep the trunk at home and bag your laundry.
• If the trunk is dropped off but not to be laundered, the $35 Empty Trunk Fee still applies to return and store it.

4. Multiple Kids, Multiple Trunks?
Please request to keep your trunks separated. Otherwise, we will group laundry by categories (clothing, bedding, lovies).

5. Need Items by a Certain Time?
Large camp laundry takes time and care. Standard turnaround on large orders (over 50 lbs.) is 4 business days.

6. Rush Orders & Next-Day Service
We offer next-day turnaround on a limited, first-come, first-served basis.

• Separate urgent items in a clearly labeled bag — we’ll treat them as a separate rush order at a higher per-pound rate. Rates can be found on our website.
• Requests dropped off late in the day (e.g. 5 PM) may not be ready early the next morning — please check with us first.

7. Delicate or Sentimental Items
If there are beloved or fragile items (like lovies, hand-knit pieces, or heirlooms), consider laundering them at home. We take great care but can’t guarantee perfection for delicate materials.
